Transforming Spaces 2012 was a smashing success! The team at the NAGB is still trying to recover from the tours, energy and art. In today's post we share some great photographs taken at the beginning of the tour at the NAGB.

The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas

Mission Statement:
The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas (NAGB) is committed to engaging the history of Bahamian Art and Visual culture and supporting contemporary movements and experimental contemporary art practice through exhibitions, an extensive public program schedule, community and regional projects and partnerships, arts education, providing fellowships and grants, the establishment and support of an art library and the building of the National Collection.

Location:
The NAGB is located on West and West Hill Street, opposite the St. Francis Xavier Cathedral.

Hours:
10- 4pm, Tuesday through Saturday.
12-4pm, Sunday.
Sunday is free for Bahamians.
Closed on public holidays and Mondays.

Admission Cost:
Local Adults, $7. Visitors: $10
Students and Seniors, $5.
Children below the age of 12 enter Free.
