The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas (NAGB) is pleased to announce the return of its annual summer camp, the Mixed Media Art Summer Camp. This year, kids ages 7 to 15 are welcomed to the NAGB, where they’ll spend their time learning visual art techniques, exploring different avenues of creativity and developing their knowledge of art. The camp will be divided into two sessions: Session 1, from June 27 to July 15 , 2016 , and Session 2, from July 25 to August 12 , 2016.
At the end of each session, campers will display their artwork in a final showcase at The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas!
APPLICATION PROCESS (please read carefully)
Summer Camp enrollment is on a first come, first served basis. Those who prefer to apply online can
find a link to the printable application form for the Mixed Media Art Summer Camp at www.nagb.org.bs.
To apply for the full three weeks of either session, please submit the program application AND the
$480.00 tuition fee (inclusive of VAT). There is a discounted rate of $405.00 (inclusive of VAT) for those who sign up and pay before April 29, 2016.

WHEN TO SHOW UP AND WHAT TO BRING
Camp will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday. The Mixed Media Art Summer Camp will provide all the necessary materials, equipment and instructors, as well as a snack in the afternoons. Each camper will be provided with two T-shirts. Additional shirts will be available for purchase. Campers should bring a packed lunch every day, wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. A water bottle is highly recommended.
